YOU BOOKED A SESSION!

Cue the fireworks!

You did the hard part - you reached out and asked about how we could work together.

Read to learn what you can expect in your first session and your sessions to come.

Do I need to wear something specific?
Wear something you can move in with comfort and ease. That can be Lululemon pants or your non-branded cozy clothes.

Do I need to bring anything to the session?
I always have high quality yoga props with me. That said, feel free to bring your personal yoga props!

Do I need to fill out an intake form?
I will bring a waiver for you to fill out. The first 10-15 minutes of your session will include a conversational intake. I'll ask you a few questions to learn about your body, your past and current movement experience, any meditation practices you have or are interested in cultivating, and your main goals. Then we will have a conversation about how you are feeling in that moment.

What if I have never done yoga?
Awesome! I love working with beginners. We all start somewhere. I will always honor where you are.

What if I haven't done yoga in a long time?
That's okay! It's kind of like riding a bicycle or like flossing your teeth. Maybe it's like flossing your teeth while riding a bike.... just kidding. If you can breathe, you can do yoga. You'll be surprised at how quickly you will remember the poses and breathing practices.

What if I have an injury or am recovering from surgery?
Yoga is a complementary practice, but it does not take the place of required medical support. I will enthusiastically utilize any suggestions made by your medical professional support system. If your condition worsens, I will request for you to get an assessment.

What can I expect in the first session?
After your check-in, you can expect to practice movements that will create clarity in your joints, stretch and strength in your muscles, and ease in your mind. This session is tailored to you; we will practice in a way that creates balance and enhances your lifestyle.

What can I expect in the following sessions?
Warm and encouraging support and challenge. For your individualized session some days you may need more rest and slower movements, other days you may need an energetic practice that helps you wake up to a new and exciting capabilities.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be charged the full fee.

How do I pay?
I will email an invoice to you at the end of the month. You can pay online or you can pay via Venmo (@Megan-Spears-Yoga).

How do I set up more sessions?
Three ways:
1. Request a weekly or bi-monthly standing appointment.
2. Schedule again at the end of your initial session.
3. Utilize the booking app.

Where do we meet?*
If I am meeting you in your home, please email with your home address. If you prefer to meet outside of your home, let me know and I will send you an email with my home address. *I do have a lovely cat and a sweet dog! If you have pet allergies, my home may not be the best option.

What about a traditional yoga studio?
Traditional studio availability is dependent on the day and time of the session. Note that there is an additional charge to rent that space (typically $15). This is a great option if you work downtown and/or if you want to have an "out-of-the-house" experience.

How do I pay?
Venmo is a great option. I'll send you an invoice at the end of the month through which there is an option to pay directly with the invoice, as well.

What's the best way to quickly get ahold of you?
Text or call me at 469-438-0342.

Please email me with your preferred practice space and any follow-up questions you have!

I am so looking forward to working with you =)
